A catch-all mailbox receives email messages sent to nonexistent addresses under the exact same domain name. For instance, an email message sent to the misspelled suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. Thus, you can get email messages from friends or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling mistake or to an old one, which they may still have, but you have already deactivated. Only one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for such a mailbox. This is due to the fact that at some point you may begin receiving spam email messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction means that the spam will not be sent to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Web Hosting

You’ll be able to set up a catch-all e-mailbox without difficulty if you’ve got a shared web hosting account with our company. The Email Manager in our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel is feature-loaded, yet amazingly easy to use, and it will permit you to enable various features, including the catch-all one, with only a few mouse clicks. All the mailboxes that you’ve created will be shown in alphabetical order in this section and next to each one of them you’ll notice a small-size "Catch-all" symbol. Clicking on it once will enable the feature, clicking on it twice will disable it. As you can have just one such mailbox per domain, our system will warn you if you already have another mailbox with this option activated or if you’ve got active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

The custom-built Hepsia Control Panel that comes with every semi-dedicated server package that we’re offering will permit you to set up a catch-all email mailbox without difficulty even if you don’t have much email/web hosting experience. All it takes to do that is to click on the catch-all icon, which will be on the right-hand side of each email address that you have created with your domain names in the hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Since you can have only one single mailbox with this feature per domain name, our system will warn you if you have already created another catch-all mailbox or if the one that you’d like to use has email forwarding activated. If you reach the decision that you do not need this feature any longer, you can turn it off by clicking once again on the very same icon. The Email Manager will also allow you to see your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
